I also finally decided to finish the kitchen doors in white. Initially, I couldn’t decide whether to use white or the natural wood I was using in the rest of the house, but I am pleased with the way the white turned out.  You can also see that I moved the toaster to the demi-lune shelf unit, and added some cookbooks.  (They all contain pages from the actual books.)  Technically, the Betty Crocker Cooky [sic] Book didn’t come out until 1963, but I couldn’t resist adding it.

I think it looks right.. especially because the wallpaper has a white background and the fridge and floor compliment it as well. I like the toaster in this spot.. the books are cute as a button but they are about to knock the vase of the shelf. :D
