Thanks! I found Pitt india ink pens are great for tiny furniture. You can layer shades and the ink goes on so nicely - easier than acrylic craft paint - which is nice for the tiny kits like this. These kits aren't wood - they are dense cardboard. They feel and look like wood, but the exterior is plain white and mdf-ish.
