I’ve put in some books .  The ones on top of the nightstands open, and have real pages from the books—Peyton Place for her, Catch-22 for him.  The books on the shelves in the nightstands do not open

What I love about this build is that it's so vintage but not at all dated.  It's just the right balance.  It feels like you've stepped back in time.
