Moving along with staircase.

The main body of the staircase just has primer on it right now; I will paint the rest white and do some slight aging to cut the whiteness a bit. I am still trying to decide what detailing I want to put on all that nice open space. Perhaps a Beatrix Potter scene, with some incorporation of the main room wallpaper, is where my mind is right now. I like how the cherry treads contrast so far, though. It is about time to take a break from fiddling with the stairs and get to work on the wood flooring however.
