door trim

I was a little disappointed that the first step was the window trims, because I wanted to get right into building, but I followed the instructions and primed them using a spray. The spray blew them around a little until I got used to it. My husband wanted to know what the sticks were. I used spaghetti under them so they wouldn't stick to the newspaper. Then I hand painted with two coats of white paint. It took 3.5 hours with drying time and when the instructions said to glue them onto their perspective walls, I stopped. I think it will be easier to paint the exterior and to wallpaper the interior without them in the way. I did assemble the front door though. That was enough for one day as my left hand was covered with paint from holding the little pieces.
