kathi17 915 Posted March 15, 2016 The stove looks beautiful in white. When I was growing up, there were a ton of houses here with cast iron stoves. Lots of them were enamelled in various colors. I remember a neighbor, who always had something cooking on hers. She used it kind of like a crock pot, for stews and things. I always wanted one, but never got one, so I always put them into my dollhouses. I never thought about spraying them to make them look enamelled! 1 Quote Link to comment
WyckedWood 5,189 Posted March 15, 2016 I love these Chrysnbon stove kits. I make them for almost all of my houses. I wanted a red stove for my christmas house so I experimented with spray painting them. Works great. I assemble it first, let the glue dry, spray paint then add the silver accents last. 1 Quote Link to comment
WyckedWood 5,189 Posted March 15, 2016 On this one the spray paint was matte finish so I had to go back and add the gloss varnish. 1 Quote Link to comment
