No ideas for the kitchen yet

Since they are young girls, I'd say keep it basic and simple. Then it will let them add their own ideas as they go.

My Barbie fan loves to make accessories and things out of paper, glue, paint, even tissues, broken jewelry, ribbons, beads and old recycle bits for use with her Barbies. She makes the food out of playdoh and so on. It's part of the fun for her. Maybe include a "Creating Box" with little bits and supplies for them to experiment with after they get the house.
