what else you can do with Greenleaf siding, part I

havanaholly

I ordered some of the vinyl adhesive flooring from Greenleaf with my MOM gift certificate (see the Greenleaf Gazette for February) and while I was waiting I EXPERIMENTED (those who know me know it's something I HAVE to do, like building dh kits & making minis). I cut the siding strips into 12" lengths and then split them in half lengthwise and I got on a roll and floored most of the second floor (yes, I left part of it bare, for the bash I have to do). I spread rubber cement/ contact cement all over the plywood floor and then I brushed some on each strip of wood and l lay the strip in a staggered pattern on the plywood. I went over the strips with an old teaspoon I keep just for burnishing floorboards. When it was all dry I sanded the floors and wiped them with a tack cloth.
