Need Y'all's Expert Advice

Cheverly

I'm "trying" to do a weathered finish similar to Brae's Haunted Heritage, but it's painfully obvious that I'm running out of paint and flipping the brush midway on my long strokes. The paint is also pooling on the edges where I start the stroke. Anyone have ideas that'll help the paint seem more uniform overall? Or how I can fix what I've already done?

crackle can sometimes be a bit finicky for me.... I just use acrylic paints though when I use it.... I think Brae picked up some of the paint off her house while the paint was still wet... I don't recall off hand what she used though....

Depending on how much crackle medium you used... you might be able to do a second thin coat and still have the crackle effect.... I like this look though.
