Wanted to experiment with home-made wiring, so I got some LEDs and some 22-gauge wire. First benchtop test with 9 volts blew the LED! Hubby found a resistor to put in series and it works much better. This kitchen light is actually on-- that is not a reflection! I will put something around the base and wire later after the whole thing dries...
