Whew! Its been a while since I posted any of my work on here. Heres my latest creation, A French style writing desk. This piece has a real working lock on the drawer, ive nearly perfected the lock design after much trial and error! This is only the third piece ive made with a working lock.
The carefully matched wood grain pattern was fun to do, the cream colored paint compliments the natural wood color, the hardware is very realistic as well. Love the look of this piece! A dull shine adds to the old-world charm. It really came out the way I wanted it too. If you like my work feel free to share my images, my miniatures are for all to enjoy.
