I finished the parquet floors. I chose a design that wouldn't be hidden by the rugs that I am embroidering. I have been working all winter on books for the bookstore - here are just a few. Paperminis is a wonderful resource for book kits. Most of the books have real pictures and text on every page.

The picture will go over the mantle. I can't decide whether I will use this bookcase. I will most definitely need to build many bookcases from scratch for upstairs so I might do the same for downstairs.
