My first house. Dad's lakehouse.... A tribite to my Fath

I purchased the Spring Fling because I got it without shipping. I had never made a dollhouse before, and I was really wanting a hobby.
Once I received it; It just sat there waiting on the perfect time to start. Well I started to assemble, sanding, priming, trying to figure out what this one room wonder would turn out to be. I have never been a crafter, just a former nail artist for 10 years, so I knew I liked small detail, and with a steady hand I would give it a try.
Still no luck at what it would trun into, I was fishing through my Martha Stewart magazines and I came upon a page with fishes, starfish, and shells. Well, I have never decorated with shells and fish, I just had to cut them out and decopage them onto thicker paper for use in the future. Just as I had completed my assembly of fish, shells, and starfish I received a call from my fiance, telling me my father was now in a better place.
I will not go into detail of what happened next, but the project I was saving for the future was now my little house, aka my fathers lakehouse. My father actually has a house at Clarkhill lake, otherwise known as Strom Thurmond Lake. Raysville marina boat club.
This is my first house, and I made it in his honor. I am so proud of it, even thought it is not perfect, I did my best, making everything by hand excepe the table on the left hand side with the mirror and the handmade lamp.
