making progress on the granville rehab

I have some updated photos. I finished the wood flooring today and the wainscoting in the bathroom. I can't wait to apply polyurethane and make the wood come to life! I need to complete my outside before I do this tho. So next steps: repaint the porch ceilings and finish painting all of the trim. Complete the foundation treatment (whatever that will be). Install all railings and exterior trim. I do need to clean off the shingles (dust) and finish one little area that the previous owner left incomplete. After all shingles and ridge caps are in place i'll either apply poly to the roof or a wash then poly to refreshen up the roof. I will then do all interior molding and trim, installation of staircases and railings and the final portion of rehabbing this house will be installation of widows walk. The house is getting closer to being done and i feel so lucky to have found this house. I almost gave it away but decided i was being stupid. I really like it and the room sizes.

Marg, your Granville is Gorgeous!! I am so happy you kept your house too because I get to see what it looks like before I build mine ;) Your wallpaper choices are GREAT too!

Marg, it's absolutely beautiful. It reminds me so much of my Van Buren on the inside. You did an amazing job on the flooring and wallpapers. You should be really proud of this one!
