okay, i'm almost done!!!!!!!!!
I just need the roof put on (waiting the $ to buy more paperclay) and i need beams for the ceilings, otherwise this house is done (oh i'll be putting moss on the exterior but this will wait until i landscape the house).
This has been a wonderful house to build!
Of course there are things i wish i could improve but...like the spackle in the attic along the joints. I forgot to cut trim to stain and glue into place to hide these areas. i may do it down the road, but i'm not going thru the extra effort to do it now. I can just throw some stuff in the attic in front of the areas so you don't see the spackle.....um the baseboard doesn't meet in the corners in a couple of places. Well, the wood flooring has high spots so the baseboards are down as low as the will go...one i get furniture in you won't notice :whistle: All in all i think it has turned out as i imagined. The wood trim along the bottom back edge was a nice find last night when i dug thru my wood box. I had purchased it to use in my Grosvenor about a year ago. I decided to not use it after all. So glad because it fits perfectly with this house! I love how it turned out. The floors are more glossy than i wanted, but one coat of polyurethane wasn't enough, so i had to apply 2.
Well here are the photos. I won't post any more on this house until i get the needed work finished and decorating completed!
