Castle Project

Well, I've taken a break from working on the floorplan of the castle I'm designing and thought I'd see what I could come up with for the exterior design. Now, keep in mind that this is a VERY rough draft and nothing is to scale yet. These are my thoughts "so far"; which means anything could change. But at least you can get a visual of what's been in my head thus far. The two end sections are the wings that come out and form the "U" shape. My husband had the idea of making each section look different and I'm glad I took it. He said it would look too "Foxhall Manor-ish" if both ends were identical and that the difference adds character. I'll probably add more architectural elements to give it more dimension. And yes, it's even going to have a basement. I shudder to think of how much $$$ I'll spend on paperclay for this project! Thank goodness it'll be a while before I start it. Need a RL house first 'cause I'm out of room!
