Collier & Son, pub. Copyright 1948, 1950. Very cute scale drawings for making pull toys; the puppy and kitty are darling. The 50's kitchen (color photo) is interesting. The photos of the laundry and irons will make you laugh. The Lady of Godeys's - Sarah Josepha Hale. Ruth Finley, auth. Published by Lippincot.1931. Bio of Ms. Hale, the power behind Godey's. Interesting plates, some in color. An advocate for women, she challenged inventors to come up with a labor saving washing machine, and they did. It's a good read, esp. if Victoriana is you thing.
