The San Lorenzo Valley Museum in Santa Cruz County is having a models and Miniatures Show October 8 - 10. If you would like to participate or know someone that would let me know. Below is the press release:

MODELS AND MINIATURES SHOW

A COMMUNITY EVENT

The San Lorenzo Valley Museum will host a “Models and Miniatures” show on October 8th-10th, 2010. On display will be model trains, cars, ships, working mechanical models, dollhouses and dollhouse miniatures, miniature books, artwork, and much more. The opening reception for members and participants will be held October Friday 8th from 5-7pm and the show will be open to the public on Saturday October 9th and Sunday October 10th from 10am-5pm. Entrance to the show is free; donations of $5/family are appreciated. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

There will be a drawing for the Grand Prize of a fully finished Princess Anne Dollhouse (Retail Cost $649), professionally decorated and ready to accept furniture, with a $100 gift certificate from Hobby Building Supplies (www.miniatures.com). See our website for a picture and more details. The draw will be held at 4pm on Sunday, October 10th. You need not be present to win. The Grand Prize will be on display at various locations in the San Lorenzo Valley during the upcoming months.

The San Lorenzo Valley Museum is located at 12547 Highway 9, Boulder Creek. Opening hours are Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon until 4pm. Admission is free.
