distressed exterior

Franciebelle

Just a close-up of my exterior for the witch house. I did the primer layer in black, followed by crackle medium, and then with forest green. It looked really cool, but a bit too new. I aged the wood with a dry brushing of gray and burnt umber, using a rough brush and straight-across strokes to give it the illusion of siding. When the roof is complete and shingled, I'll do more to give it an aged and neglected look. What that will be, I'm not sure!
