new doors

The doorways in this house were only 5.5" tall with 7.5" ceilings. If I were a doll i would have lost my head walking through them. I cut the doorway to the kitchen larger to 3"x7". I had to move the door to the new bedroom over so it would just make it in the peak of the roof and i cut the hole to fit the opening for a slim door. you can see how small the arch used to be where the foamcore patch is. The walls in this house are so badly damaged with gouges, thick slopped on glue and irremovable wallpaper that im going to cover all the walls with foamcore so theres a nice new smooth surface. its just easier that way and it also compensates for the thickness of the prefab doors and windows.
