When the Spring Fling contest was announced the first thing that came to mind was one my past times: bench jewelry. Whether creating one of kind creations or repairing someones heirloom jewelry being a bench jeweler requires a steady hand and an abundance of patience. I have always wanted my own jewelry workshop so now my dream has come true albeit in miniature. In my jewelry workshop there is a jeweler's bench, torch set-up, wet room with polish machine and pickle pot (for cleaning jewelry after it has been soldered), and various jeweler's tools: hammers, a saw, a ring mandrel, and even a little bracelet.
