Wallpaper



We then met Gillian in the Central lobby at 12.30 and she took us straight for lunch in the 'Strangers Dining Hall' so called because its where visitors to Parliament are taken. On our way there I was so impressed by the huge and wonderful paintings on the walls of the corridors and the beautiful wallpapers around the place, they were big and bold, looked like reproduction prints, featured the portcullis in some and the Tudor rose was a constant wherever we went, if it was not in the wallpaper it was in the stained glass adorning the place
