House of Commons
Once the speakers had processed in, the crowd dispersed and we were led up lots of stairs to the public gallery, to watch PM's questions. It was not like I expected, the public gallery is completely enclosed in glass, but the inside was as impressive as the Central Lobby, if not more, turned and carved wood decoration all round the room along with the green of the upholstery made for an impressive sight. Our MP Gillian was speaking on a matter as we went in, then a few others, then at 12pm the two leaders came in the house and PM's questions commenced. Joan was excited when she saw Gordon Brown, and I was excited when I saw David Cameron !!! Hehehe. It was lots of fun to watch, with people waving papers and shouting and laughing and booing every so often. We were watching for faces we recognised, and saw Alistar Darling, Jack Straw !!!! It was great fun and it looked like the politicians were having a great time too !!!
