The Houses of Parliament

let me set the scene, I am part of the Civic party for the city of Lincoln, my husband is the Sherrif (which is purely a ceromonial role) and his best mate is the Mayor. These civic offices last for one year in which time we get to do lots of fun things and meet loads of great people (we have only two weeks left now before the new civic party take over or their year)

The day got off to an early start with the chauffeurs picking us up at 6.30am. We stopped at a hotel for breakfast about 9.30. It was a 3 star hotel at Barnet, almost to London. It was a nice breakfast, if a bit dried up, bacon, sausage, eggs the works !!
