Kitchen planning and appliance mockups

Hello from the belly of the beast that is known as college! I am indeed alive, though first the holidays and then college sucked away any and all miniature time. I just have to remind myself that it's worth it, that I have just one more year left, and try and temporarily forget that the insanity isn't actually ending in April 2018, but that I have two more years of insanity after that because I apply to graduate programs next semester. 

Luckily, I have found bits and pieces of time in which I have made progress on my minis.  Namely, I have been taking a break from windows and wall/floor pattern making to plot a bit more on how I am going to tackle the kitchen. I figure that the best place to start is with the large appliances I want, so I have figured out how large refrigerators, stoves, etc. of the kind I want typically in 1:1, and scaled those measurements down to mini size.

Cue a refrigerator out of cardboard. Now to figure out how to make the doors work, what level the shelves will need to be at, etc.
