New Studio

Deb

This is my new workspace in our new house. I divided the function of my old studio into two rooms here........one for the messy parts of dollhouse building and one for working with fabrics and textiles. The rooms are right across the hall from each other so it's only two steps away if I want to change from working on dressing a bed to building a dollhouse. What's amazing is that I downsized my studio by about 2/3s when we moved and it still takes two rooms to hold it! This closet is where my kits are stashed. I donated over 100 to the VA occupational therapy center in Denver and there's still enough to fill this closet from top to bottom and all the way across. Guess I better get building again!

We are hoping you'll start building soon. I, personally, love to watch your process. Maybe just finish up something that is almost done to be a quick dip in the pool again.

I am! I got the Love Shack off the shelf and onto the work table yesterday! It's soooooooo close to being finished that it won't take long. Yesterday I finished dirty washing the tin ceiling to make it rusty, then installed the roof, the porch, and did some trim work. I feel a little rusty but it'll come back. Real life side tracked me today but tomorrow my goal is to assemble the greenhouse and do some of the final touch up and detail work on it. <happy dancing> I'm building again!
