Well, after waiting several days for the stain to arrive it’s finally here. Unfortunately the color is all wrong. I ordered “Red Mahogany” and apparently my idea of red is grossly different from that of the manufacturer because this stain is brown. So back to the drawing board I go to find the right color. But I have not let this slow me down too much. Had better luck with the other items ordered. I received the fireplace that I’m going to change for Mr. Bronte’s bedroom, and found the desk for Mr. Nichol’s room, the fluted dowels for the legs on the piano in the study, the mirror for the “over mantle” on the piano, a lovely ceramic plate as an accessory for the house, and some hay bales for the area I‘m creating outside the house near the laundry shed and chicken coop.
