I'm building my second Glencroft. One of my favorite dollhouse kits. When i built my first one, I decided that I had to build another and that it would be built in reverse and also have an extension off the kitchen. So I opened the box and began construction today! The basic shell is built and I have to say that i love this house in reverse! I'll take pictures shortly. The glue is drying and it's too soon to remove the masking tape. It will be somewhat different than my last house, but will have elements that I'm just crazy about. Dark stained wood. Plaster walls. Wood floors. Window seats! Still undecided about certain decorating elements but i'm thinking i will leave off most of the exterior trim.

No paper clay this time due to a financial deficit, but i will have spackle thruout. love the look of a plastered cottage. I'm sure i will use the picket fence this time and since i still have the fence left from my last glencroft i can make it bigger

On thursday, my next day off, i'll spend time working on my extension. This weekend i'll get all the wood parts (stairs and such) sanded and stained. I'll post pictures shortly!
