i test fitted some of the windows to see what it would look like. i still need to cut out the octagon shaped window in the gable. i started to work on the porch roof today but couldn't get much done as i had other obligations for the day, but at least it's a start.

The house will have a 3 story addition on each side. So the new living room will actually be in the extension..it will have a fireplace and the window seat that was originally on the first floor of the side of the house. The old kitch is now an enlarged dining room, the new kitchen will be in the new extension off that side of the house. it will have the bay window on the right wall of the kitchen and a door leading out onto a new covered porch.

i've completely moved the staircase. that will come in later pictures as i reconfigure an area. i'm pretty excited about this

I'll add more photos after i spackle over all my changes and then i want to throw on a coat of primer to cover all the mess. i think this is a pretty dramatic kit bash and so i want you to be able to really picture what i'm doing without the distraction of all my wall fill-ins. i got majic stone done on the foundation and i decided that i don't like the background color...lol...so i will probably paint over all of it. and then lightly individually paint over all of the stones. i just keep changing my mind about exterior colors and i decided these colors don't look right. wish i had waited. i was planning to add some color to the stones so that they aren't all the same color anyway. i doubt i can sand it off now because i added white glue to the mixture and it's pretty hard. Heck, i may just cover them all with egg crate carton stones that may be the easiest thing to do.
