Glencroft progress photos

These photos show the work that i did yesterday. Next weekend i'll paint the interior and the paperclay, then i can put the staircase together, then put the final outside of the shell together and paperclay the exterior fireplace. Still lots of work to do. The photos aren't very exciting but just wanted to post them to show progress. I am bummed about the kitchen window sill. Before I started spackling, i realized that i shouldn't have glued that window frame and sill on yet cuz i needed to stain it as well as make like easier spackling. Well i did such a good job of gluing it into place it wouldn't budge, so i put masking tape over it then spackled. I then stained the window sill. the stain wicked up the spackling and now it looks messy. I think that several coats of paint on the spackle will make it look nice again, but since i love this window and like things to be done in order to avoid messes such as this, it drives me crazy. ah well, when i build the glencroft again i will know to do things differently.

Thanks for the photos, Marg. Ive been looking forward to seeing your progress. Your Glencroft is coming on really well. I really like the spackling on the interior walls. Nice work
