Bill F Picture 3

Mini Man

I am retired woodworker/handyman and “milled” all of my lumber to 1/12 scale ( within a 1/32”) for the project. I also added another entrance to the project, the petroleum pump side (gas station side). I have milled the board and baton to 1 7/8” X 2/78” (2 X 3’s); 2 7/8” X 3 7/8” ( 2X 4”s) for the wall studs; 2 7/8 “ X 5 7/8” ( 2 X 6’s) for the roof rafters and 3/7/8”X 3 7/8” (4X4’s) for the petroleum porch. Notice the 2X4 headers and plates to detail. I was attempting to make the interior the rustic old “grist mill” type.

My old rustic door pulls did not arrive as of yet, so I modified some brass door pulls with black paint. Sorry for that.

After many hours of intense/fun work I am finally done.

Thank you very, very much for the opportunity to build another Repair Shop.

FINE JOB!! Looks like me and you were on the same page. I too was a carpenter for many years and I built this kit because my Fiancee Vicki asked me to help her build a dollhouse, and I enjoyed working with the intricate trim. We saw this kit on Miniatures.com and they are having the same contest, so you should enter that one too. The deadline is July 4 th. Nice to know I wasn't the only MAN in the ring!! But the Ladies seem to have that decorating thing down to a T. Take Care, RICH Taylor
