When I saw the Winner's Bungalow, I could only image a farm building. But that appeared to have already been done.

I live in Southern California, just a few miles from Knott's Berry Farm. The history of the Knott family and their establishment is legend here. I knew that they opened up a roadside berry stand in the 20's and started selling the fruit they grew. I "googled" Knott's and found only two photographs of the original building. I tried my best to recreate that. I also tried to make almost all of the fruit accessories such as the crates and flats with berries, and paper bags.

I enjoyed this project, the kit was easy to assemble and decorate. The hardest part for me was taking the pictures and selecting one that best reflected my project. I am looking forward to everyone's rendition of this cute house.
