Peter Pumpkin’s wife Patty is the sister of Peter Piper, who’s famous Pickled Peppers the world loves. The two Peters became good friends as well as brothers-in-law. They now work the Piper family farm together to supply all the fresh produce for the Pumpkin Stand as well as the delicious Pickled Peppers Patty preserves. Patty Pumpkin works out of the tiny red barn beside the Pumpkin stand making pickles, preserves, relishes, jellies and jams. The Pumpkin Stand and the Pickle Barn sit beside the road where the two Peters and Patty can watch as the world travels by.

Pete’s Pickle Barn: I constructed a single Spring Fling 08 Kit, adding only inside door trim. I have used real screen mesh on the windows, and real stone for the walkway, reindeer moss as the greenery outside. I made all of the fruits and vegetables from Fimo. Patty Pumpkin is a doll I completely redressed and re-wigged for this scene. Particleboard siding was used and painted a barn red; the roof is actual roofing material in a tan color. I constructed the fruit crates and shelves from thin scrap wood. I re-used many items I already had for this scene, making it to compliment a previously constructed scene titled Peter Pumpkin’s Produce. I wrote the story above, it is a work of fiction.

This kit was very easy to construct, and went together beautifully, my only suggestion would be to include the second piece of door trim, as double window trim is already included.
