Started the BH!!!!!!!!!!!11

November 20th. I started my BH last night! After sanding for a couple of hours I decided that I wanted to get things started. I realized that the first floor sheet was slightly warped, but i figured that would be okay after the foundation is in place and the walls started going up. (okay so i was impatient and wanted to get started). As I was building I realized that there were more sheets with warpage...so after alot of wood glue, a ton of masking tape and a little friendly coaxing (and a couple of choice words), i got all the walls and floors in place

I'm at the point of building the staircases next. I found wallpaper that will look awesome in the halls and cut the pieces to fit this morning. I realized that the divider wall for the hall was a bit too warped to leave as is so after a little tugging and glue and masking tape, it should be ready as we speak for a bit of wallpaper! I think it will still be warped, but not as bad. I think i will use the same wallpaper in all of the hallways...not sure yet but at least two of the hallways.

I had originally planned to go completely dark victorian in this house, but would have had to order all new wallpaper. As it was, i was able to find wallpaper for all the rooms from my wallpaper supply! I'm excited, that will save quite a bit of money and enable me to get more work done sooner on the house! I can also start daydreaming and planning more, how i'd like to decorate!

I'll probably wallpaper the halls today, but i'm on my way to the basement now to look thru all of my dollhouse furniture, i may have enough to get the house halfway decorated!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm excited! This is my first blog and therefore my first blog entry!!!!!!

Congratulations on your first blog!

The BH is coming to life on your tabletop. She's sure a beauty, isn't she.

I can see that she loves the furniture that you've chosen.

I'll be watching you build and blog with great interest. I've always loved the Beacon Hill.
