I wish i was proficient at using power tools.
I'm not.
I just figured out how to use my circular saw attatchment for the dremel. it's been a long time since i've used it. can't cut a straight line. I wanted to cut 6 new doorways in the foxhall but after attempting to cut one, i give up. It's not a big deal anyway, i was going to lose alot of wall space for furniture if i put in more doorways. wish i had decided this before i bought all the extra interior doors for this house. Well, I have plenty of other houses to use them in so they aren't a waste. I'd dig out my regular jigsaw but i'm worse at using that I don't want to butcher my Foxhall and the jig saw attatchment for my dremel needs a new blade. Heck the circular saw attatchment needs a new blade for that matter. I don't know if i can figure out how to use the jig saw attatchment anyway. think i'll stick with using my dremel for my 1/8" kits. ...and in the future any cutting that i need to do needs to be done before i put the house together...it's to hard to make new openings when you have limited space to work in. I know that where there's a will, there's a way. I don't have the will to do it...lol. I want to get going on this project. I'm good at learning things if I'm shown. (like using tools). i can't figure them out from reading directions.
I set all the nails with the nail set. i just need to spackle now then hopefully next weekend i can prime the house! I'm thinking about using a different set of staircases in this house. Although I do like the circular stairs, the backs of the stairs look awful. I can't easily remove the railings (i want stained rails and treads and then have spindles to be painted. I have 2 angled staircases but they are just a little too short in height. I can modify the first floor and create a base for it....not sure how the second floor will look. I'll play around with it a bit.
