Taking a break from routine
I seem to have fallen into a routine of "getting all the other stuff done". I lead a very full life. I have a great family. We have our ups and downs, but I wouldn't trade them for the world. Having a large family means a lot of laundry, cooking and cleaning. Not to mention 'mom's taxi service'. I took the time this weekend to work on my Laurel. I ignored the house and it shows. lol Besides Battlestar Galactica is over till the next season (whenever SciFi decides when that is) so my Sunday nights are free. And who is the fifth of the Final Five anyway?
I got the patio roof painted. I will need to do some touch ups on the yellow. I thought I had taped it off well enough. Guess I was wrong.
Even my trusty assistant didn't notice. There are a lot of spots that need touch ups.
All of the flower boxes painted and put on. Some of the shutters, too.
I wallpapered the attic. The one side will be a girls room. I am not sure what the other will be. Maybe a study.
I feel that I am close to the home stretch. I need to finish the back side roof shingling and the what-knots like door knobs and trim. Then there is decorating. I still cannot find a rug that I like for the patio floor. I am sure that I will find something.
