jeannec22
Hi: Does anyone have a good suggestion for a beginning project for a 9 year old niece? I'd love to get her started in miniatures...wish I'd have thought of a Haunted House several months ago... Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions would be much appreciated... Thanks, jeannec22
shutterbugkc
If the nine-year-old girl will be building it mostly on her own, I would suggest something easy and small such as a Primrose or Buttercup to get her started. If you will be working on it together, an Arthur or Orchid would have more room and would be a great project. I'm sure she would love either one. :o
havanaholly
The Sugarplum is a sweet little house for a little girl to help build, and makes a wonderful storybook cottage. I've built a couple for little girls :o
MiniMadWoman
Hi Jeanne and welcome to the site! :o The Buttercup really is a cute little starter house. I'm going to be building one myself and "bashing" it with a Canterbury dollhouse. You can have a look in the Gallery too where there are lots of houses with great ideas! Be sure to take pictures and share them with us!
