Help identifying model brand/scale

Hi all,

Im hoping your lovely little community may be able to assist me, recently my granfather has been talking about a restoration project he is working on for my daughter, as we live quite some distance away ive not seen it untill today via video.

Im by no means a collector of miniatures but am quite an enthusiast of bjds although i have asked him a few times about the scale or origin of the dollhouse i suppose its not how he thinks, i simply am told the doorway is fist sized? peculiar answer i know.

Since seeing it in video im going to assume its 1:24 but i could be wrong and since i cannot find anything that looks similar to it enough to say okay thats the manufacturer i can find info there, im hopeful perhaps you guys who are more versed in miniatures may be able to help me identify it or at the very least confirm scale for me, i would really love to begin collecting some dolls and furniture peices for my daughter as i find them.

He has said it was used on the set of a disney production and it was purchased along with original cells from bambi from the same seller but i dont know if that is accurate, helpful or relevant, attached are some ss from the video, apologies for poor quality i did try to capture the best stills of interior/exterior/power supply

Thankyou so much for reading, and any assistance in indentification of manufacturer or scale would be greatly appreciated, i would quite like to send my granfather some nice supplies for him to work with for this project to keep to its beautiful original form.

Wow, that's an interesting house! If it was used by Disney then it's most likely a scratch build and might not be a precise scale. Ask him to measure the ceiling height with a ruler. (Not his fist!) If the ceilings are between four inches and six inches tall, then it's 1:24.

This is definitely a custom built house.  It is the a model of the Carson mansion in Eureka, CA.  The house is amazing in real life, this model would a fun challenge to restore!

Is that the house with stairs to nowhere, or am I thinking of another?

That is the Sarah Winchester house (Winchester Mystery House) in San Jose, CA.
