Poor little cottage

I found this little Coventry cottage at my reuse center. It was $15. On sale for $7.50. It's not my favorite style house, but the poor thing needed a home, how could I resist?

Aw, poor thing!  It needed loving, talented hands to make it adorable again.  I don't see the porch swing.

Oh I say HOOORRRRAYYYY FOR YOU AMANDA!!!! I LOVE SAVING OLD HOUSES!!!! She is a conduit of someone's love for her and now YOU are keeping that love and History alive!!! It's a noble endeavor. No, no porch swing. Most of the gingerbread trim is gone, too.

For $7.50?! How could you not buy it?!! Great score.

I think the Coventry Cottage is ripe for bashing (especially at this price). I like what @Minis On The Edgedid with it:

Enclosing the porch totally changes the look of the house.

This is a house I thought about trying to bash into half scale, but that would probably be easier to do in a new build than in one that's already put together.

I built one and screened in the front porch, since it was based on one in Stewart County, GA, and the mosquitoes are fierce except in cold weather.
