coco83
I am having trouble making a window seat for the large bay window of Storybook cottage. No matter how many times I measure I am still not getting a tight fit. Does anybody have suggestions on how to build a bay window seat especially for this dollhouse? fov
I made one in my Victorianna -- different house, but similarly shaped bay window. This blog post shows how I did it: https://www.emilymorganti.com/blog/?p=13788 I suggest you put a piece of cardboard underneath the bay window and trace the shape, and then cut that out to make the seat. You can cover it up with wood veneer or another material (I used floorboards on mine).
havanaholly
When I made a windowseat for the bay window in the Westville I cheated and used the assembled bay to trace a pattern for the "seat" that I cut from foamcore, since I could shave bits off to make it fit.
