Redgrammy
Hi I am trying to remake a Pierce. The person who made it used hot glue and didn't decorate at all. I have taken most of it apart, and am trying to redo the window frames at this point. My problem id that the actual windows, the clear parts. are scratched and look terrible. Is there anyway to replace them. I have not received an answer from Greenleaf yet to see if I can buy the sheet of them. Betty
KathieB
Hi, Betty. Welcome to the forum. You can replace the windowpanes with any thin, clear plastic. Repurposed plastic packaging is one source -- think bakery boxes, etc. You can add mullion and muntin details with fine-tipped marking pens. havanaholly
Betty, before my Pierce was destroyed during our last move I had it half rebuilt with new doors and windows, and I also make new doors and windows for most of the houses I build new, so I save and use a lot of clear flat plastic packaging.
