sandilpn
And for pretty cheap too---only $73.00 with shipping. That is the most that I have personally spent on a dollhouse! I feel pretty special in that, since so many of them go for way more than that. (And I don't think I am up for a garfield just yet.) So now, I know there is a servant quarters/kitchen on the bottom. How would be the best way to increase the height of that lower level without sacrificing the structure of the house? I want it to be about the same height as the rest of the house. I was thinking maybe a styrofoam platform that continues for the extra inch or so that I need to go and make it look like a partially (or fully) bricked lower level? I need ideas, although I may not start on this big guy for a while since I burning to start my GL queen anne. Sandra
Minis On The Edge
Yeppie!! I am so glad you won! That is an AWESOME house! In one of the dollhouses to dreamhouses books, it features the Emmerson Row and it shows how the extend the basement floors to create higher ceilings for the servants quarters
