asherah
does the plastic in the windows come out? I really don't want to have to tape them all off to paint them. Such a huge pain.
Qubanqtee
well are you speaking of the windows in the RGT Queen Anne or a particular window? most windows have the ability to take out the plastic, but not all...I usually just tape the window with painters tape and then pull it off as soon as I can after painting....it's usually just enough to be neat and doesn't require a second coat. havanaholly
Recent Frog Tape ads state the product has a barrier formula that the water in latex paint activates to prevent bleeding under the tape. I'd definitely test it first on a scrap piece. Edited March 30, 2021 by havanaholly

havanaholly
IMO ALL replacement components ought to come with removable panes!
Mid-life madness
You can soften the joints of the window frame by doing the old microwave trick, and usually get the glass out.
