fullycrazy08
Hello to all! My great grandfather built my mom the pierce DH and it needs some refreshing and repairs. So with that in mind I've decided to fix it up for her with no experience in building dollhouses. Any advice would be appreciated.
havanaholly
Welcome to the little family, Annie. If your mom's grandpa used hot glue to build the house you could use a hair dryer (or heat gun) to take it all apart and rebuild it with a good carpenter's wood glue On the other hand it might just need a fresh coat of paint. fullycrazy08
Looks like he used wood glue and its not in terrible shape, working on uploading some pictures but file size is to big. my main concern is the pieces for the tower are separating
havanaholly
When you have made five posts you can make an album for "before" and "after" in the Gallery. Get a roll of blue painters' tape (I like the 2" width) and a bottle of Titebond (red cap) and run a small bead of glue down each tower seam; if you cut some bamboo skewers the length of those seams you can glue them in there to fill the "V".

fullycrazy08
I like the bamboo skewers idea plus I already have some laying around the house.

u.sir.name
Hi Annie, I've used bamboo skewers as well. They do the job!
