Island-Shack
I picked this up off Marketplace, the seller didn't know anything about it. I'm usually good at identifying houses but I can't tell on this one. I'm leaning towards Walmer? They used that circular window and similar trim in a lot of their houses. Plus the window panes are the standard RGT window panes. It is not MDF it's thinner wood. It's definitely from a kit. I already popped in some standard 1:12 Houseworks doors and they fit perfect. It's almost 3 foot wide and a little less than 2 ft tall. It's super cute, in good shape, I love the mansard style roof. I'm adding a foundation, it's sitting on a TV tray in the pics. I'm also completely changing the interior - the exterior I kinda like already, except I'm about to paint the front door red and add some shutters. havanaholly
It definitely needs a red door & shutters!
Mid-life madness
It could be a Batrie as well. I think Batrie sold to Walmer, then Walmer went to RGT.....The inside fits. The Mansard with the gable is some kind of hybrid thingy. The windows look like Walmer https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/batrie-dollhouse-kit-bradley-140039626
Island-Shack
Thanks! I looked at Batrie as well - and I was thinking the same thing. It's like a hybrid - with the base of the Bradley and the mansard roof from a Cranberry Cove or something? I really feel like its Walmer-Lilliput-Batrie whatever, definitely from that era - prior to RGT. It's a super lightweight house. The windows are identical to my Alison Jr.
Island-Shack
I haven't had any luck identifying this house yet, but I've had fun giving it a makeover. Hoping someday I find out the name of it - but for now it's called "Spare Parts" because I happen to have everything I needed to do the makeover - doors, trim, etc. I usually keep the same name of the house - like Brookwood, Arthur, etc. so I really wish I knew the name of this.
havanaholly
Oh, I don't know' "Spare Parts" sounds fairly accurate to me; Good job!

fov
Your house turned out great! It reminds me of this one that I just saw on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Fully-Furnished-Victorian-Dollhouse-Minature/333907987154 And also of the RGT New Orleans: https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/real-toys-rgt-orleans-dollhouse-kit-1843644878 Maybe try emailing RGT and ask if they know what it is? They have an employee named Gary who's worked there for 40 years. He helped me identify an old RGT house once.

I think I will email RGT, thanks for the tip about Gary! I'm 100% positive its from a kit. It's really driving me crazy I've posted pics of this house all over Facebook too and no one knows. The porch posts, window panes and trim are definitely walmer/liliput/batrie/RGT. The doorways were standard size too, my doors in my stash fit perfect. Emily I can't thank you enough, I emailed Gary over the weekend and he was quickly able to ID the house!!! It's called "The Sparrow Lane" by Batrie. He even provided a link to the instructions. I am soooooo happy to know the name, I can't even tell you. Batrie DH26K
