Cati
While surfing the web, I found this dollhouse for sale online. I wonder who originally made it. In a way it looks like a modified HolfCo dollhouse. What do you folks think?
havanaholly
Poor ol' house! Some careful TLC will make it glorious.
FurMama
If you have anything left in the bank to fix it up with after paying the exorbitant price they want! It's been awhile since I looked at that post but it was several thousand dollars.
Cati
Lisa, I assumed the seller has unrealistic expectations of the price. Hence, why I would like to know if this dollhouse came from a company that no longer is in business or is a custom build.
Mid-life madness
That could be an awesome house. Did I miss the price???
Cati
The seller wants offers, but apparently wants a lot of money for it. I would like to know who manufactured that house.

I saw it on FB Marketplace earlier this year and don't recall the exact amount but I remember thinking it was way overpriced. They were offering furniture and pieces and parts with it too. It is located in Greenville, South Carolina according to the Post. I looked briefly this morning and didn't see it still on there but I didn't look that hard.
Cati
Here is the listing, the seller put $123,456 because he doesn't know what the dollhouse is worth.

My real life house was about that price back in 1993.....and it was in better condition.
fov
I don't think I've seen one like it before. I suspect it's a scratch build or a kitbash. I think that because the porch looks out of proportion to the rest of the house, in the same way that scratch builds sometimes have low ceilings. havanaholly
I rgiught the porch look unfinished, like it was missing the railings between the posts.

Does it remind anyone of anything if you imagine it without the porch? There is something about those skinny windows in the turrets that seems familiar but perhaps I am overthinking things.
Cati
Lisa, you might be onto something. This might be a bashed/customized house.
