If we're talking about the same plans, they're still available through Archive.org: https://web.archive.org/web/20040805121553/http://kuoi.asui.uidaho.edu/~nyssa/furniture/mission.html I built the bed and the dresser a long time ago -- Holly, that might be what you were thinking of. Those were probably the first pieces of furniture I ever scratch built! The problem with most (all?) commercially available dollhouse kitchens is that the upper cabinets are only the equivalent of 30". In real life kitchens you can get 40" uppers, or even bigger. Adding crown molding also takes up space and helps make the cabinets look more realistic. 15 hours ago, Cluelesscrafter said: I definitely cannot make my own kitchen. You might surprise yourself! If you don't care about the doors opening, kitchens are pretty easy -- they cabinets are really just boxes. havanaholly
I remembered it was FURNITURE!, Emily; give me credit for remembering that much! And THANK you for the link; I wish someone had archived Sclerise's Murphy bed from a Michael's hutch. I’m not concerned about doors opening. The exception would be an opening refrigerator. I absolutely agree with upper cabinet height. I doubt I will build my own kitchen but I do think I am now way better equipped at choosing one.
