asherah
I dont now if it's possible but is there a turntable that would work for such a big house? I saw a turntable at RGT that says it can hold a 1000 lbs. But it's only 12 x 20" What do you think?
Sable
Yes, it will work but you have to keep two issues in mind: 1) it has to be perfectly set in the middle of the house’s weight to keep the house balanced. Some people attach it to a full house length board first then place the house on the turning board. 2) the house has to be away from the wall so you can turn it 360 degrees. Its a math thing. You have to measure from the corner of the house to the center of the house to determine the wall clearance.
Mid-life madness
You can buy turntables from Home Depot and Lowe's. Then mount it onto a piece of wood. They are usually found near the spindles and moldings area.
