Ok I may need a gluing jig, now that my Fairfield is only 1/2 scale. lol   Seems like a good excuse

I was able to put all of my Fairfields' dining room furniture in mine to glue:

Old tread but I could finally order it. It was sold out for three months.

Micromark charged me double costs for shipping to the Netherlands but Amazon came to the rescue.
I prefer ordering at the maker but this time it was too expensive for me.

You might want to consider storing it vertical when not in use as mine ended up being a catch all tray sitting on my workbench.  I got annoyed at myself as I had to empty it every time I wanted to use it.

I have a piece of plastic with a printed grid in the bottom of mine. I got the grid at a quilt shop and cut it to fit. It's handy to have a measuring guide right in the tray.

...Great idea to protect the bottom with a sheet, I will have to remember that tip!

If glue leaks out the waxed paper keeps it from sticking to the jig and peels right off.

Has anyone used the device called 3rd hand or helping hand? It's a contraption with a few holding clips and magnifying glass. Various price ranges depending on quality I guess..thinking of getting one,

I bought one at the fair and I absolutely love it, I paid about $12
