Casaundra Marcus
Hello all! Greeting from NJ! I am a 1st time builder with the hopes of completing THE ARTHUR # 8012 for my two little daughters as our 30 day summer project. They have already picked which room they want to decorate and have picked out colors ( 5 too many LOL) from a swatch book for their respective rooms. What number sand paper do you suggest? Any words of advice/encouragement are welcomed!
havanaholly
Welcome to the little family, Marcus & Cassaundra. I generally sand with 80-120 grit sandpaper because that is what I usually buy to cut up for bricks. For the fiddly curves in the gingerbread trim I prefer to use emery boards, which can be bought by the pack in any dollar store. The Arthur was the first kit the building team built & blogged, and if you click on "Blogs" at the top left of the page you will find it there. Do remember there is no such thing as a dumb question, so ask away.
